With October just around the bend, the Barbaro-Gould Foundation kicks pre-production into high gear. Shooting will begin in Clearwater soon. Racing To Rio will cover Brad Kendell’s journey to Rio 2016 with his team, along with focus on the Never Say Never Pirate Camp for disabled youths and the Clearwater Sailing Community’s Camp Awesome for high-functioning autistic children. The film will shine a light on sailing and these organizations, in an attempt to unite the Tampa Bay area.
At this critical point, it is of the utmost importance that Racing To Rio gets all the assistance available, including donations, sponsorships, and the like. A Floridian project, the film’s success relies on the generosity of the local community and beyond. The Barbaro-Gould Foundation hopes to reach its financial goals and make Racing To Rio the best it can be.
